Bike Projects

Bike Projects

Backbone’s Bike Project established in 2010 has set the standard and created a formula for many other bike projects in Scotland. A sustainable model allowing for full ownership by the community.

Our Bike Projects have been very successful in encouraging people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities to get cycling. Most of our participants are Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic women, first time cyclists or those who have lost their confidence.

We offer a menu of training giving community groups the skills, confidence and knowledge to set up their own Bike Clubs.
